In Forclosure And Need Money To Move?

Are you behind in your Mortgage payments and about to be foreclosed on? You probably are wondering what your going to do or where your going to go?

Well one thing you want to do is be very careful about individuals approaching you with a so called "plan," where you can just walk away and everything will be taken care of. I have heard of this scam for several years now and it is being done by not only individuals but I have also heard of law offices involved. Let me tell you what they do.

When you are in foreclosure, the bank can't just come out and lock you out of your house. They may make it seem like they hold all the cards, but they don't. It takes time for them to actually put you out and during that time you still have a legal right to stay in the house.

There are individuals who know this and exploit it in their favor. What they do is they will approach you and tell you that they will find a buyer for your home and by doing this, will save your credit, you will still lose your house but in the end you won't owe anything. They would have you believe that they have the magic formula that will make all your troubles disappear. All you must do is sign over rights to them to occupy the premises in the form of a lease, for no money, and they will take care of everything. Oh, by the way you must find a new place to live immediately.

So now you move out and guess what happens? Once you move out they will rent your property out at a price below the rental market value to get someone in fast, and pocket all the money until your house forecloses!

In the mean time you are paying rent somewhere else while their collecting rent money on your property, and in the end you lose your house in the same situation you would have been had you just stayed in your house. It's a scam of the worst proportions. If someone approaches you with this type of scam, tell them no thank you and if they persist call the police. They can't help you, and in fact are just looking to exploit your circumstances.
